Support, at every level of Relationship

Services

Deepening Connection

Emotional Connection

Emotional intimacy is the heart of lasting connection and trust. It invites both partners to show up fully, share openly, and grow together. It is the reason we enter into deeply committed relationships.

Physical Connection

Over time, physical intimacy can fade, feel routine, or become a source of tension. These sessions help you talk openly about needs, reignite desire, and bring more playfulness and sensual pleasure into your relationship.

Navigating Challenges

Getting Back on Track

For couples feeling distant, disconnected, stuck, and somewhat lonely even when you’re together — these sessions create a safe space to bridge the gap, realign your connection, breathe new life into your relationship, and rebuild closeness and a renewed sense of partnership.

Support at Breaking Point

For couples in crisis — facing uncomfortable tension, painful distance, and the same breakdowns on repeat. You feel stuck, unsure how to bridge the gap or move forward, and communication often ends in conflict or distance. This is focused support to restore trust, clarity, connection, and a shared sense of direction.

About the process :

We meet on Zoom for 90 minutes.

Each session is a co-created process — not about being told what to do, but about discovering together what truly matters to you. I help you uncover what’s in the way and walk beside you as you move through it.

Our work blends honest conversation with gentle somatic practices, engaging not only your mind but also the wisdom of your body — the key to real and lasting change.

At the heart of every session is safety: when you feel safe, you can go deeper, open wider, and build the kind of trust that transforms how you meet life and love.

At the end of each session, you will receive exercises and tools to apply in your relationship, along with individual practices that support your own personal growth.

Rutherford Greenslade

I am a trauma-informed, somatic relationship and intimacy coach with a discreet, grounded approach shaped by 14 years of training and real-life experience.

Since 2012, I’ve helped couples elevate their emotional, physical, and sexual intimacy through retreats, workshops, and private practice.

My work rests on the truth that meaningful connection and intimacy aren’t luxuries, but essential human needs, and every relationship is worth investing in.

My role isn’t to judge or take sides, but to hold space, offer practical tools, and help you create a relationship that feels alive, nourishing, and widely for-filling.

Communication, Needs and Boundaries
We had hit a wall, had lost trust and couldn’t to get past built up resentment. Disagreements / arguments had become a normal part of our relationship. Rutherford showed us how to listen safety, and communicate our unspoken needs. We stopped blaming, started hearing each other, and finally had the kind of conversations that bring us closer together. It’s been a very long time since we felt so close. Working with Rutherford has been a game changer and I can not recommend his services enough. We wish we had this support years ago. Sue and Brian K, USA

The Perfect Gift
We gifted our son and his wife 6 sessions with Rutherford at the start of their marriage. It gave them a very strong foundation for communicating, aligning their values and mapping out important aspects of their future. It unexpectedly deepened my own relationship with my son. Every newlywed couple deserves this kind of support.

Testimonials

Reigniting Sensual Intimacy
Lack of intimacy was something we had got used to. Our physical connection was rare, and when it happened, it felt disconnected. Rutherford helped us create space for desire again. We’ve gone from awkward avoidance to regular, playful, passionate connection. These sessions were the best investment on our relationship we’ve ever made.
Jo and Darren, Australia

Healing Old Patterns
Simply amazing! We were only 18 months into our relationship and already repeating our old patterns with each other. Things got ugly and painful, mostly because we didn’t know how to move forward , even though we really loved each other. If we hadn’t worked with Rutherford, we would have broken up and undoubtedly repeated the same patterns with new partners.

It has been the most rewarding experience. We have a forged a very deep bond though understanding and supporting each other through our individual processes. We are so grateful for the quality of our relationship today. Thank you, Rutherford, you are a gem!
Sarah and Matt, New Zealand

Emotional Intimacy
Our relationship felt surface-level and tense, and I’d honestly given up. Working with Rutherford felt incredibly safe. Over the year we’ve built a whole new marriage — an experience beyond worthwhile.
Rutherford is genuine human being with a lot of dynamic resources.

Kids, Family life and Renewed Intimacy
After three kids, our marriage had become all duty and no spark. With Rutherford’s support we rebuilt intimacy, revived our sex life, and discovered new ways of parenting as a team. The positive impact on our whole family has been profound.
Cindy and Peter, Colorado

Sexual Connection
Hands down the best gift we ever gave ourselves. Sex once felt mechanical and disconnected, but with Rutherford’s guidance I released emotional blocks and my husband grew into a confident, generous lover. Rutherford is an exceptional Relationship Coach.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What happens in the first session? I’m nervous about opening up
We’ll simply get to know where you’re at—what’s working and what hurts. I move at your pace, never faster than you’re ready, and create a safe, non-judgmental space to share.

  2. What’s your approach—and will we get tools to use at home?
I blend trauma-aware, somatic (body-based), and practical relationship work. We’ll talk to understand patterns and use simple exercises to shift them. You’ll leave with clear practices to
    apply between sessions.

  3. How often will we meet, and can we work online or in person?
Most couples start weekly to build momentum, then taper to fortnightly or monthly.
We meet online which is convenient and extremely effective; In-person retreats are available

  4. Is everything we share confidential?
Yes—your privacy is protected. The only exceptions are rare, legally required situations involving safety

  5. Do you take sides? What if things get heated?
I don’t referee or pick a winner. I hold a fair container, slow things down, and help you both
speak and listen safely, even in conflict.

  6. What if one of us is more invested—or we’ve tried therapy before and it didn’t help?
That’s common. We can still make meaningful progress. Once safety and clarity are in place, engagement usually grows—even for the more hesitant partner.

  7. Can you support us after a betrayal—or if we’re considering separation?
Yes. I guide couples through repair after infidelity, and I also support conscious uncoupling
    when that’s the healthiest path.

  8. Do you offer individual time within couples work?
When helpful, yes—brief individual check-ins for clarity, with transparent boundaries that keep the relationship work primary.

A note from Rutherford

Coaching isn’t about fixing what’s broken — it’s about strengthening your capacity for love with tools, skills, and confidence.
Relationships can be life’s most challenging arena, even for people thriving elsewhere. I approach this work with humility, knowing you already carry wisdom and strengths of your own.

At the same time, I bring confidence from dedicating over a third of my life to the study of relationships and intimacy. My commitment is that you flourish in love, creating a deeply nourishing, enlivening, and meaningful emotional, physical, and sensual connection with your partner.
